Mosquito/Tick Barrier Treatments are a cost-effective approach to killing and repelling mosquitoes, ticks and gnats. During mosquito, tick and gnat season (approximately April through September), our licensed and trained mosquito control technicians will perform a Mosquito/Tick Barrier Treatment in your yard approximately every 3 weeks. First, we will inspect your outdoor area for mosquito breeding and harborage areas. Next, we will perform a surface spray treatment of the targeted area. Then using backpack mist blower, a fine mist of our barrier treatment applied to the perimeter and those harborage areas, such as shrubbery, where mosquitoes/ticks rest. Finally, our Mosquito/Tick Barrier Treatment includes mosquito larvicide and tick granular treatment. This destroys mosquito breeding areas and ticks on the ground where they spend 2/3 of their lives. Granular Tick Treatment is applied every two months in order to keep your lawn tick free.
